Administrative Assistant for Luxury Portrait Studio

Job Description:

Emily London Portraits is looking for a professional and driven Administrative Assistant with previous Customer Service and Office Experience to help us grow our business.

The Administrative Assistant position will begin as part-time, but will gradually grow into a full time position over a few months. During this growth period, one of your main tasks will be to develop and document the position itself. This way, as the studio grows, various tasks can be handed off so you may be able to transition into either a Studio Manager or Marketing Director.


  • Communicate with clients via phone, text, and email
  • Schedule appointments; coordinating with clients and team (Photographer, Assistant, Makeup Artist, and Sales Rep, as necessary)
  • Prepare studio space for presentations and photoshoots
  • Process Client Orders
  • Maintain Social Media Campaigns
  • Represent Emily London Portraits at events, trade shows, and various networking opportunities
  • Develop and document each component of the Administrative Assistant Position (for training purposes)

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) 
  • Minimum one year of Customer Service and/or Office Experience
  • Must have a Cell Phone with unlimited minutes and text messaging

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Photoshop and/or Lightroom
  • Experience with Social Media; including Facebook, Instagram, Google +, Pinterest, and Twitter
  • Previous experience in Marketing and/or Public Relations

  • Highly competent using a computer, especially 
    • Typing

  • Studio is Located in Provo, UT
  • Possibility to work remotely after two months (Some exceptions apply)
  • Estimated hours: first two months: 20 hours/week - then gradually building up to 40 hours/week
  • Work Hours will generally take place on weekday mornings (with afternoons possible)
  • Start Date is Monday, September 15
